I lost my passport in UK, I am on student Visa ...

I lost my passport in UK, I am on student Visa which expires on 25th January 2009. I have got the replacement as a new passport from the India High Commission from London. Now If I want to apply for POST STUDY WORK visa is it possible? or else is it the student visa to be stamped first and then the PSW... Please help.

Your best bet is to contact the home office directly, as this is quite an unusual situation. Their contact details are on the following site: http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/passports-and-immigration/ You should have been re-issued with the new passport and the student visa.

Life is what you make of it so don´t wait for a free ride, it nevers comes.

Check with the school you are attending and if they can´t tell you then go to your Embassy.I would suggest you do this as soon as possible.
