I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings.

Last month my husband invested in the Resperate device for lower blood pressure - and boy is it effective? We've discovered that it's much better overall to lower blood pressure naturally.

Moves on to next victim

Malaria parasite lives in animals. Hungry mosquito bites the infected animal - sucks up blood to feed itself - fly's off to find another animal victim (you if you're unlucky) - bites the second animal and in the process injects some of the blood and parasites from the first animal - bingo - you've got malaria and Mr Mosquito is full to bursting point ...... Damn things !!

It continues to live as long as there is food (blood) for him to eat (thats how people get dengue fever, malaria, etc..)

Never Let Go

Mosquitos bite u and suck up ur blood, if it doesn't fill up when it bites it moves on to the next victim until it is full of blood.

Mosquitos only live for approximately 15 to 30 days, depending on the conditions.  Only the adult females need to feed on the nutrients in blood before they can lay their eggs. This is usually a must for the female to produce eggs. Very similar to fleas. Mosquitos actually prefer animals to humans but will feed on you if they need to. If they get enough blood from you, they will lay their eggs and not bite another person as they only need blood to lay their eggs, then eventually die. Stinks to only exist to produce offspring and then die. Insects are very interesting.
