The Republican strategy seems to involve attempting to block anything Obama tries to do. This risks putting America into a state of paralysis until 2012. What do they see happening and what will they do if they manage to get enough support to stop Obama from doing anything, but not enough support to run the country in spite of him and against him?
I have asked some of the stop-Obama people this question and have not gotten an answer. Does anyone know?

I'm one of the few Black Americans who did not vote for Obama, I'd never heard of him and by him being Black and wanting to jump into this mess he had to have some powerful movers and shakers behind him who are looking for a chum to initiate some serious changes. After the Republican party nominated it's choice for VP, I knew that they did not want to win and look how easy the victory was. But the question is naive because the person who asked the question asked it not realizing that the reason he was chosen was because he is willing to be the first to dismantle the freedoms that we have here to make ready for the New World order, which would conflict with the New World Philosophy of one world, one government and one religion. Must of us are deceived that since we have our first Black President that social conscientiousness has evolved but this is the same program but disguised by a radical departure from what we were use to, here comes the first President, Commander-Chief of the armed forces who thinks its good idea for veterans to pay for their health care. If he had the balls and the gall to suggest this to a nation that owes so much to the sacrifices of it's military and whose resources can afford a$550 million budget, which is just a drop in the bucket if saved, shows me that he is being pimped by the powerful entities that are behind him, that have had us all force fed whatever they want. You see it is not about stopping him, but that faceless entity behind him. Republican or Democrat, it don't matter the game is the same but if you believe that man can save himself, you'll never be able to see whats coming until its too late.

I think the Objective here is not just to "Stop Obummer" but rather Return to a "TRULY BI-PARTISAN POLITICAL SYSTEM"!!! During the "Campaign" his Retoric was all about "Reaching Out Accross the Aisle & Transparency" which may have lasted until he was "Sworn In" but certainly NO LONGER!!! The "Eyes & Ears Closed Head Long Charge" Issuing "Executive Orders & Passing a Horrendus Budget" before it was even "Printed" can only show his "Political Immaturity & LUST FOR TOTAL POWER"!!! We needed not to "Rush" into this & later have to Modify & Regret his actions. But that is Exactly what will be happening if ousted for the FRAUD he is!!! We will NOT BE PARALYZED, that is a "SCARE TACTIC" to divert thoughts of "Removing" him. Not that this is not a Great Question (it IS) but "Chaw on this a while!" What do U then do with him & Where??? He cannot be allowed to "Walk the Streets" with the Information he now has & his obvious TREACHERY!!! I suggest Gittmo along with his "Bros & Quran"??? John

Americans do "not" want to stop him from doing "anything", they want to stop him from taking away our rights. Were he to change his agenda, maybe create health care reform without putting the government in the middle, more Americans would agree.
This isn't about being "left" or "right", "black" or "white", but American. We are a spoiled nation, used to our freedoms, many see his agenda is to take all that away. History shows us, the direction he is trying to take our nation is not what Americans want. I fear by the time we awake, it will be too late.
If you research newspapers of Obama's past, he wasn't one you would admire, but another "Chicago Corrupt Politician".

Putting the country in a state of paralysis has long been the goal of the GOP. They wish to create a permanent under class and were well on their way to doing so prior to the majority of American voters voting them out of office.
The GOP have been actively working to eliminate the middle class for more than a decade now and nearly succeeded by constant use of elections tampering and most of all propaganda intended to distract people from what they have been doing behind closed doors with oil/coal, weapons and pharm. CEO's .
Should the GOP somehow regain control again they will continue on with what resulted in our economy out of the Bush administration. Nothing more and nothing less.
I asked one question and got answers to another. I know most of the truly marvellous cornucopia of reasons why people want to cripple Obama. But they seem so fixated on that goal that they do not have any answer to the question 'what then'. This question remains undiscussed and unaddressed, but it will be the question of the hour once Obama is crippled. It is just plain irresponsible to not be prepared -- sort of like invading Iraq without thorough preparation for dealing with the problems of occupying it.
I suppose some people believe that what Obama is trying to do is so horrible and so irreversible that it would be less dangerous for the country to be paralyzed for a couple of years or so. But even so, they should be discussing how to mitigate this danger.
