Any time you apply for an form of credit where the creditor pulls a report, it will go into the system as an inquiry and your score will be effected just a slight bit. Too many inquiries and it will be a bit times however many times. But all of this will correct itself over time, so it's nothing to lose sleep over. Just make sure to give it a couple of months of no activity before you apply for something big like a auto loan or a mortgage and you'll be fine.

If you're constantly applying for new loans, it can hurt your rating, especially if you're getting turned down for them. Applying for loans, in a way, shows that you don't have enough capital to afford your cost of living on your own income. And if you're getting turned down by creditors, it's an indication that your credit standing just isn't up to par, and other creditors will weigh these rejections against you.
