how do i get my hair from dark brown to bright red?

i have really dark brown hair and i went and bought loreal feria r68 and only the roots came out. theres a little bit of red tint in the rest but not much. and i really need to fix it but i dont wanna use bleach. helpppp?

if u apply the die its going to turn dark red around the shades u see on the side of the box the only way to get it brighter is to use bleach or die your head a light color first  wait a month or two then die it red

You need to find a good colorist to do your hair. haircolorist.com it may be an expensive fix but you will love the results. You can find an American Board Certified Haircolorist in your area from that web site. Good luck:)
