You should put a lot of conditioner and leave it for 5 minutes everytime you wash your hair. Also dont brush many times would help too.

Hello! First dont worry too much, you dont want to lose more hair maybe for no good reason! Try making an appoitment to see your dermatologist, this would be the best way to go about your problem. There are lots of misconceptions and different interpatations as well as many different factors regarding hair loss. better safe than sorry, see your doctor. Hope i could help, good luck!

tam, given your age it could be hereditary. Some hair loss and thinning are a normal part of aging. After 40 the hair tends to become drier and breaks off easier. Also stress and improper diet can cause hair loss and thinning. A diet high in protein will help prevent this. However if the thinning is substantial you might want to have a thourough check up to make sure you don't have any underlying medical problems or hormone imblances that could be aggravationg the condition. Other than that, get yourself some L'Oreal shampoo and cream rinse, the VIVE pro, It not only conditions, but strengthens your hair as well. I've tried almost everything over the years and L'OREAL wins hands down. There are cheaper and there are more expensive hair products, but L'Oreal is all I will ever use. Barring any medical conditions, another thing you can do, is pour BEER on your hair for the final rinse. Not light beer, reg. beer, any cheap brand will do. Wash your hair,(only one lathering)rinse, put on the VIVE pro creme rinse, leave in 2 to 3 min. rinse thouroughly and pour on 1/2 to 1 can (12oz.) of cold beer. The colder it is the better. Message through your hair and towel dry. Do not rinse out the beer. As your hair dries the beer smell will evaporate and you won't smell like a brewery. Beer is full of protein and hair is nothing but protein and by pouring it on cold you close the hair cuticle whereby trapping the beer inside the cuticle. Whenever you do your final rinse after washing your hair, rinse the conditioner out with warm water, followed by cold (again the colder the better)water to close the cuticle each time you shampoo. This will prevent breakage and dry fly away hair and stimulate the scalp. It is a little shocking to the system initally, but you get used to it. And it does wonders for your hair and scalp. And you don't have to pour the beer on everytime unless you want to, but if you notice your hair getting dry or dull, give it another beer bath. And don't waste you money on the hair products that claim to contain beer, it's so little it's not effective. Try this and if the condition of your hair loss does not improve, then It's time to see your doctor to find out why.

hello all,

Well, the first thing is to take enough of a good protein----hair is made from protein. You also need extra B vitamins to keep the hair healthy, lower the stress level, drink lots of water and never brush hair when its wet.

I always use a wide tooth comb when it is wet, then use natural products only---no chemical shampoo or conditioner.

always looking good....lace front wigs
