My hair is soft and gets very kinky in humid weather. If I use tons of gel it helps to control it but it looks and feels stiff. It is also dry looking...If I set it in rollers it helps but it looks old fashioned... Please help

John Freida makes a wonderful product called Frizz Ease Serum.  There is also a 'Thermal' Serum if you use heat on your hair. (blow dryer, curling iron)  This serum works beautifuly on my hair when it gets unmanagable.  It also makes it super shiny. You just need a dime size amount.   This might work for you.

Thanks for your reply.  I recently purchased Hair Serum by John Frieda.  It makes my hair soft but does not keep it from getting kinky.

Gel does help but I have to use quit a bit to keep the frizz away.  I dont blow dry.  I put rollers on the top, and use the serum and then gel on the rest of my hair and let it dry naturally.  If I blow it dry it gets worse.

I will keep trying different things.  Who knows maybe I will hit the right thing.

thanks again
