I'm looking for any research on tea and weight loss. Anyone have any information?

Hi if your taking sugar in tea then that wont help,i am an ex boxer and always had to keep my weight down just look at the calories on everything that you buy men are allowed 2000 a day hope that helps you a little or go and buy a book with calorie controlled diets in it good luck!

New evidence is emerging that green tea can even help dieters.   In November, 1999, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published the results of a study at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.  Researchers found that men who were given a combination of caffeine and green tea extract burned more calories than those given only caffeine or a placebo.

tea and weight loss are very much related to each othr btu it depends on what kinda tea u are talkin abt ..my freing has tried herbal tea..n its relee effective..tat a kinda a black tea basically without milk /sugar.. it reelee help in weight loss. actually sugar is reponsible for puuting on weight tat should b avoided with teas..
