I have a very deep cough with greenish mucus. All ...

I have a very deep cough with greenish mucus. All this started with 2 very painful canker sores on my tongue. The canker sores are gone after using salt on them, but the cough is the worst. I need to get better quick. Need to work! Are the canker sores and cough related? Is there something as easy as salt to get rid of this cough?

I don't think that the cough is related to the canker sores. Those sores are generally a result of something you ate like excessive spices. The cough sounds more serious since greenish mucous is usually a sign of infection. Better to consult a physician before trying over the counter cough medicine.
