I don't know what laundry detergent you use, but you can try one called Dreft. It says on the bottle it's the#1 choice of pediatricians. I use this myself and I love the way it works. It works great for non static clothes, It leaves the clothes really soft, and it smells really good. Its kind of pricey, but worth it, but just keep in mind, it doesn't work well on blankets.
