Any suggestions for good colors to wear for gray ...

Any suggestions for good colors to wear for gray haired baby boomer women?  I always wore a lot of black with denim but find now that my hair is silvery I look better in bright pinks, reds, white.

Look in my cloet and you'll find almost all black and white!  And of course, my jeans.  I think black and white would look classic on a silvery haired woman.  And gray is also a favorite of mine.   I am not a big fan of brightly colored clothes and have been critisized for my lack of fashion adventure!  I can see red working well and some deep warm browns and purples as well.  Pink?  I have a confession.  I have never worn pink in my life!  Perhaps if a perfect pink cashmere sweater were to arrive from Santa, I would wear it but pink has never been my color.

Thanks for your answer. 

The pink I am talking about is not a baby pink but closer to a "deep cool blue/red type" of pink.   I found a suit at a shop in Soho when I was in NY for a wedding and the weather took a cold turn, catching me unprepared.  They did the alterations in a day for me.  I love the suit and it is this color.  I always like how I look in photos when I wear the jacket.   I would send a photo to show you but can't get it with this system.

flattering shade of pinkHere is the shade of pink I think is flattering.  Thanks again for your answer to my question about good colors for silvery salt and pepper hair.   Happy Holidays.

Sandy, was your second email meant to have a picture?  If so, it didn't come through.

Any way, any color suit found in a Soho shop when in NY has got to be great!  And I'm a jacket hound.  I love suits just for the jackets!  It sounds lovely.
