Is graduate school worth it? Difficult?

I'm thinking about going to graduate school.  I was wondering (from people who have done this before) if you thought the work-load was more/less difficult than you undergraduate degree?  Do you find that your job opportunities are better now that you have a second degree?

Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

It's not an easy question.  There are pro's and con's....  It opens many doors and possibilities but shuts many other doors (Over qualified).... on the other hand it opens your mind to see better / deeper.... and it opens new options as well (What I am doing today is far far far away from what I learnt).  It enables you to see the forest (and each tree as well).  I faced the same dilema and decided to go for it....  and.... it was the best decision I ever took.....
Best regards,

Of course there will be variations depending on the field and on the nature of the program. Generally, however, the undergrad is the most difficult because it asks you to do a little of everything. The masters (even with a thesis) is the easiest because you specializing in what you like. The doctoral degree is similar in that way but takes more time and also adds more stress. So, my advice is to go on with the masters if you think you want to.
