What kind of government gives security to U.S ...

This should be a rhetorical question (one that need not be answered) because we all know what the right answer is to this question.  The core problem this question is indirectly addessing has to do with the core values or underpinnings of our country.  It used to be obvious that most Americans believed in a strong national defense, personal freedoms per our Bill of Rights, a private enterprise system that was the envy of the world, low taxes, and the smaller government the better.  We supported one another in crisis, we respected one anothers religion or ethnic background, and we basically used the 10 commandments as a set of groundrules on how to behave (even if you weren't a Christian).  We were proud of our country and were not abused or criticized, or made fun of if we stood up during the national athem, or admitted we went to church and believed in God. What has happened in the last 40 years in this country has changed this country considerably in a negative direction.  We have allowed our culture to gravitate into one of the most permissive and liberal environments where just about anything one wants to do is allowed or permitted.  Our entertainment industry has been a leader in glorifying sex, murder, greed, and just about any form of behavior as OK.  The popular role models that are presented to our children these days are out of control teenyboppers, rap stars, or professional ball players in lieu of doctors, engineers, school teachers, or small business owners.  Pornography and illegal drug trade are two of the biggest businesses in the country. Video games that offer kids opportunities to blow up people or commit murder in various forms are very popular.  The internet, which can be accessed by anyone of any age is totally uncontrolled/unregulated and offers information, pictures, or videos of just about anything one would be interested in or curious of.  Our legal system has moved more toward greed then what is right or wrong.  Our politicians are subservient to the special interest groups because they like the royalty treatment they get when in office and do not want to give it up by going against those that fund their reelections.  The news media has gotten so biased that it cannot be trusted to present balanced information for us to interpret and judge about anything.  Who can you trust these days?

So, is it any wonder that we can have a President and Congress that feel like they can behave and ignore the core values of this country? This is particularly true in today's climate with an extremely liberal President and Congress.  There are no checks and balances in the federal and many state level governments because the two major parties are so polarized that they cannot work together for the benefit of the country.  The one in power can basically do whatever they want irregardless of what we the people want them to do.  No President (including Obama) has the right to ignore 46% of Americans just because they won an election with 52% of the popular vote.  And, our Congress has also forgotten that they represent everyone, regardless of party affiliation.  President Obama thinks that he has been chosen to change this country into his image.  He is not proud of the heritage of this country and the core roots and values of this country.  Because he has been somewhat brainwashed by his Black heritage (particularly Rev Wright), he sees this country differently then most of the rest of the country.  So, he is committed to actually changing this country into a socialist country with a huge federal government that has power over everything/everyone that has leverage and makes this country work.  He is arrogant enough to believe that he can get this done through his "community organizing infrastructure" he has set up using organizations such as ACORN, SEIU, and other unions coupled with those that put him into the White House.  He will work with any dictator or whomever that he believes will help him attain his goals and his place in history.

A Simple Constitutional Government,OF THE PEOPLE,For The PEOPLE,BY  THE PEOPLE,Without Outside intervention,ie The UNITED NATIONS,The (I hate this name)Federal Reserve Bank,The Council on foriegn Relations,Wall Street,Global Warming,lol,Sending Our Young Men and Women into combat in UNDECLARED WARS (NO WONDER THE OTHER NATIONS DON'T LIKE U.S.)Our Government Has

Made  The U.S.Troops,The unofficial Policemen/Women of the WORLD,Why? Our leadership,has been given their marching orders,to be the world police.

Just recently,A Fort Hood Soldier,Was placed on court martial for refuseing to deploy to Afganistan,IS HE A COWARD?,PERSONALLY ,I BELIVE HE IS CORRECT.

He has already done two(2)Tours in Iraq,and that quaifies him as a HERO,TO ME.

He is currently in the Brig(JAIL)for 30 days,been busted back in rank to private,

after which he will probably be BUSTED out(Discharged)with a Dishonorable discharge,Isn't being in the military great?,HE SHOULD GET A MEDAL!

I Am a NAVY VETERAN,and I have always belived in defending our country,and I Still do,BUT,Since World War 2, WE Have been engaged in fighting 7 Confrontations,And have walked out,With loss of american lives,and NO WINS, ALL NONE DECLARED WARS.(excuse ME,Congress approved our attack on IRAQ,Now We are attacking Afganistan and Pakistan,correct me if I am wrong,But I have NOT heard any congressional approval for these invasions.

In closeing,I Support the actions of the soldeirs refusal to go to Afganidtan!,And Yes I know WE THE PEOPLE,Have all heard the"REASON IS TO GET OSAMA BIN-LADEN And The Taliban",Ok,I AGREE WITH THAT,However I Am Not convinced WE NEED TOO SEND OUR WOMEN AND MEN INTO HARMS WAY,AND NOT HAVE VICTORY,As the end result.
