Am I going through the menopause?

I am a young women of 30yrs and for the past 2.5yrs been experiencing night sweats regulary, resulting in having to change my clothes every night for 10days pre and post period.  My periods have become frequent every 3wks and lasting longer with very heavy flow.  I have been getting regular bladder infections and feeling tired.  I do exercise regulary and weigh 8st 9lbs.  I had my son when I was only 16yrs old and wondering would this bring on the menopause earlier? Do you think I am going through this at present?

Smile, it's contagious!

No.  Your much too young and probably in good health to boot.  See your GYN.  Perhaps you would need a D&C to correct the problem.  Pregnancy at a young age does not bring on early menopause.  Feeling tired could just be from all the bladder infections.  Or maybe you need your thyroid checked.  You do describe symptoms that may not all be from the same condition.

Don't just rock the boat, turn it over, if your not on it!

It may be your diet. Spicy foods late in the evening may cause the sweating. Get your blood pressure and cholesterol checked. Have your doctor check your T3 and T4 Thyroid. Call your doctor it beats having a stroke. Good Luck.

GO TO YOUR DOCTOR. He/she can tell you what is wrong. Never take the chance that you may be going through this or that. Allways talk to the doc. Twenty-two year ago I thought I had food poison and after loosing so much blood to internal bleeding I was told I had an ectopic pregnancy. Very painfull and it knocked me out of work for over a month. When your body says something is wrong DO NOT ignore it. Go to a doctor NOW!!!!
