A:

I stopped believing in "God" when I stopped believing in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause, and the Easter Bunny.

I think most people need that uplifting feeling they get by believing that their life is not left up to them. That once they Become "saved" and drink of the blood and eat of the flesh of Jesus Christ then they are welcomed into Heaven, as long as you don't forget to give at least 23% of your pay check to the church, and don't commit murder.

It's a very rocky road to not believe, but I do not believe I will go to Hell and spend eternity in damnation. What I do not know is where do we go once we have passed? There may not be scientific proof that ghosts exist, but there is a lot of other proof out there. It's frightening to most people to believe or even fathom the idea of roaming the Earth forever, but what if?

If it takes believing in a God to give you that reasurrence at the end of the day, then by all means you are welcome, I am not trying to make anyone a non believer. But it doesn't take believing in God to be a good and decent human being. We all have to live here until we pass, so you to yours and mine to mine.

Hats off and Good Night
