Since she's already your friend I think that makes it much easier. Ask her to go somewhere that you know she will like. When you are with her tell her you like something (her hair, her shoes, her lipstick) and see how she reacts. Since you know her I think you'll be able to tell by her reaction whether she likes you in THAT way or not. You can also try holding her hand. I would also suggest acting more like you're on a date then just hanging out with a friend. Good luck!!
