If you are worried about your children picking up germs from playing in a bounce house, don't be.

Unless your child has a medical condition which compromises his or her immune system, a few germs and bacteria can be a positive thing.

If you continually sterilize everything with which your child comes in contact and insist on using antibacterial products at every turn, you are denying your family the opportunity to build immunities which are needed in order to resist illness.

Too much use of antibacterial soap (and other products) is more beneficial for the bacteria and germs than it is for you. The germs and bacteria build up a resistance to these products, creating the potential for new generations of super bacteria and germs, thus lessening the chance that such super germs can be successfully killed off.

You don't have to live in filth and squalor, but a little dirt and a few germs won't hurt a healthy person.

Get over it and have fun in the bounce house.
