Drinking gatorade when you’ve been exercising for an hour or less isn’t really necessary. Water’s fine. The loss of electrolytes isn’t significant until you’ve been exercising for several hours and that is what sports drinks are good for
(replacing electrolytes). You get enough salt and sugar from what you eat during the day. To replenish your energy, grab a quick snack after exercising. However if you will be excerising for a long time than mixing the gatorade or diluting it with some water is best. Also make sure the drink has no more than 8% sugar. Any more than that will make the fluid run slowly though your system. That won’t do you any good while you’re exercising.
