Can they garnish ss checks

I have 4 payday loans, I am on social security disability and I am unable to work. If I default on these loans can the companies I have loans with Garnish my ss check. I rent so I don't have a home in my name and the only car I have is worth about $2000.00

I dont know about creditors but the IRS garnished my ss check for income tax owed by my ex husband.

Payday Loans can't garnish your check because most the payday Loan especially online are Illegal.
