Are you planning a Veggie Garden?
The planning of a vegetable garden is almost as fun as the produce when it arrives.
A vegetable garden can be attractive, interesting as well as providing things to eat.
I have my early items planted: Such as kohlrabi, snow sweet peas, cabbages and a whole array of natural spices.
Even apartment dwellers with a balcony can now grow great tomatoes with the reverse hanging gardens. Or large planting pots.
Still reaching freezing here at nights so the softer plants can not be placed out yet. But, they are ready!
I like to plant flowers and veggies in patterns: Using marigolds around tomato plants aids in keeping the tomato culprits at bay as well as a decorative area. In my sweet peas the flowers are naked ladies, daffodils and lady slippers.
My three type seedless grape vines are adorned with peonies of various colors and sizes, as well as when the weather permits some softer herbaceous flowers.
What are you doing?
