I think all kinds of melons take a couple years to produce any fruit.

Your watermelons probably is attacked by certain insect pests. What control measures did you apply?

Watermelons belongs to cucurbits, which is suceptible to beetles and other related pests.

Try to see what insect pests attacks their flowers and apply the specific chemicals to a certain specific insect pest.

I don't know what part of the country you live in, but melons in the South are coming in soon. Give your melon time. If it is still  blooming, it sounds healthy enough. The blooms will wilt and fall off, then you should see a little melon where the stem of the bloom was. It will grow to be whatever the growing season permits.When it gets big you can thump it with your finger and if it sounds hollow,it is usually ripe.It will also turn a yellowish color on the bottom where it touches the ground.If water stands in your garden you may have to put something under it to keep it from rotting. hot summer months, best for watermelon growth, have past.   hope you got some fruit.  next year, try this. buy a medium sized, fine camel haired artists brush, play the bee by lightly brushing off all the ripe powdery pollen on male blooms(with stamen) onto female flowers to pollinate and set them with fruit.  i like to spread a few handfuls of coarse sand under melons to discourage damp rot.  good luck. of course this helps to propagate all flowering fruits and veggies.

Your watermelons have flowers but no fruits. There are some factors that causes for not bearing fruits/melons. This maybe caused by the following...

1) Close planting. You need to have a minimum spacing that's essential for all but bush-type melons wich is two by four feet, but most need even more room. Close planting results in little or no fruit production.

2) No pollinators. Watermelons have two flowers; the male and female. To produce fruits there should be some bees, butterflies or even human to pollinate the flowers. See to it that there are bees, butterflies or other insects that would aid in the pollination process.

Don't ever destroy those insects once they're present in your  garden.
