I think you might find it problematic. The reason is that there is an area code the won't enable you to play the game in a different region from where you bought it.

I am wondering if I can do this, as it has been rumored that the PlayStation 3 does not have region coding for games, just DVD's and Blu-Ray movies-do you know anything about this?
