If I had an unlocked Cingular iPhone could I put a SIM card from a Verizon phone into it and would it work?
No. Verizon doesn't use SIMs stateside.
no verizon is cdma and on a different spectrum from ATT. The only other service that works is T-Mobile in EDGE mode(2G).
