Looking for a fuse for a 32" insignia lcd flat screen tv

i have a 32" insignia lcd flat screen tv. it syopped working a few days ago so since it was out of warrenty i took the back off an dfound that a fuse what blown where the power cord enters the circuit board. have been unable to find this fuse either thru insignia or tv repair shops. i have even looked all over the net. listed below is the number printed on the fuse and on the cuircut board next to the fuse clip. FUSE FU501 T4AL/250v- thank you

Your have a 4 amp fuse rated at 250 volts. As you say, the number is not found in most searches. You didn't say if the fuse is in a holder, soldered in, etc. Remove the fuse and take it to an electronics store and match it up as closely as you can. The main thing is to get a 4 amp fuse. Buy two of them because you're probably going to blow the next one as soon as you turn the power on. You have a problem in your TV that caused the fuse to blow the first time. If you're lucky, you won't need that extra fuse you bought......Good luck!
