I don't know, but you could try to sell them on ebay or craigslist. In the meantime, tell them to ask the bank to Produce the original note they signed. ABC.com has a piece they showed on Good Morning America where this was a stalling tactic, and that banks will go after the easy foreclosures rather than the ones that require extensive research. (Mortgage notes were bundled and sold by Wall St so many times that the original paperwork is hard or impossible to locate). Hope this helps.
