Can I use Fun Fur yarn as a fringe or tassel on an afghan.
Not to knit it in the project but as a knotted tassel? If so how many should I knot together.
Most anything can be used for a fringe. With fun fur you run the risk of tangles especially when washing so be careful. If the item is dry cleaned, some artificial fibers are ruined by cleaning solution. If I were adding I'd start with 4 to 6 strands per tassel, double the length of the finished fringe and see if I liked the effect. If it isn't full enough for you add a couple more strands. It's all about what you want your finished project to look like. The fringe should balance the afghan and not over power it. You don't want it too heavy or too light for the afghan.
