I live with a friend a couple of years ago, she now want money she said I owe her for a cable bill. We all watch the cable together plus she move in her nephew and her bother. And they did'nt pay rent and I had to share the bathroom and clean after them too. Plus her bother park in my area and I got my car tow. And when I was moving into my new apartment she ask if I can take in her niece because she had nowhere to live. She live with me and I supported her for 4months she had no money and she was having a baby too. She said she would help pay when she get her welfare check but move out before she got it. When she had the baby, she move while I was at work.

so do you think its right that I pay her back. I already paid $88.00 for some stuff she order from me.

i wouldnt pay her back she was taking advantage of you asking you to take care of her niece was very incosiderate of her so i wouldnt pay her back

Hi Joy,

 

I read your questions and I will like to tell you this. since your friend niece is owing you some money that she need to pay you before she move out and she moved without paying the money and later collected her welfare cheque. It is wrong she would called you after collecting the cheque to come and pick the money nor send the money to you to show appreciation of the help you rendered to her.

So, I were you, I will call that my friend which I accomodated her niece and inform her about the amount which she was suppose to pay you back in support of the bill and then deduct it from the money which you are suppose to pay her for the stuffs which you ordered so that she will collect it from her niece. I hope you will understand this answer, if not send me a message so that I will make this clear to you in my next message to you . david

If you want to sever your ties with this person and you can afford to pay what she has asked of you, then pay it and be done with it. 

 I don't think you will ever get the money which is owed to you, and you will be happier if you realize that, and try to make better decisions in the future about who you purchase anything from as well as who you agree to "take in" to live with you. 

If, on the other hand, what she is asking of you is more than you think should be asked or if you cannot pay it, then tell her you are not going to pay it because: then list the things you did for her nephews etc.

What games do you play when you have friends/family over?

Just wondering what games you guys commonly play when you have some friends/family come over . For me, Wii Sports is a big hit with the more casual players (mainly family members who wouldn't normally Kart, Boom Blox, and Wii Sports (now Wii Sports Resort) Love some PES Soccer for certain friends too.
