I assume that "DV" means domestic violence.  But "DOC" often stands for "Department of Corrections," which doesn't seem to fit here.  Perhaps the potential sentence for conviction includes incarceration in a Department of Corrections facility?  Or maybe the "D" in "DOC" also stands for "domestic"?

It might help if you could say in which state this charge was brought.  "DOC" may mean different things in different states.
