Do I keep this friend?

What are opinions of a woman who won't let her husband watch tv shows she doesn't approve of? I know a woman who censors everything her husband is "allowed" to watch on TV and refuses to go to a movie where he may see an intimate love scene or any part of a woman's anatomy, calling those things "filthy", "unhealthy", etc.. I was there one day when she actually turned off a program she said he should not be watching as it was "too dirty"...the program was Desperate Housewives. She does these things in a very quiet way and very firm. She's also told me that she will not undress in front of, or "show" herself to her husband & they've been married many years. She says she thinks certain parts (referring to s-e-x...which she does SPELL) of marriage are not nice and only to be tolerated. She's very controlling and he goes along with anything she wants or says. She says he should not "talk back" to her, that it's disrespectful. I don't understand this attitude and I'm beginning to wonder if I want to continue a friendship with her. She bases everything on religion and somehow that strikes me as wrong. I'm beginning to not want to be around her at all. She classifies things and people as good or bad. She seems so nice on the surface, but I think she's just plain rude at times. I just am wondering what someone else thinks of someone like her?

Victims of circumstance owe it to fate. Victims of choice owe it to themselves.
