I use this method but just be sure to change the baking soda box. Probably every 3 months is good.

Love is the battery of life....

Hi Lior,

Swich the fridge off, remove all the stuff from it, take a cloth add some Alcohol (Methanol, Ethanol, Propanol, etc) and clean it.  Keep it open for 1-2 hours, than let it work (door open) for some additional 30 minutes.

Cleaning the fridge is always a good idea, but there are fridge deodorizers in the market and they are very effective from my experience.

I have found that a solution of bicarbonate of soda is the simplest, cheapest and most effective way of cleaning the refrigerator and clearing all odors.

I found the absolutely best product that is completely fragrance free, chemical free and works fantastic for getting rid of the worst fridge odors.  It is called Fridge IT odor absorbers by a company called Innofresh Products.   This product is so good, I even use it on diaper pail and cat litter box odors.   You've got to try this.  You can contact them at customerservice@innofresh.com
