How long is brewed espresso good for? What about if it is directly put in the fridge to cool? Does it stay better longer then?

The answer is in the name espresso.

Means that the brew time is short -- the coffee is in contact with the water for only 20-30 seconds. It better to drink it no longer then a minute after it was poured.
