How can I do a search for free on my dead grandpa?
I really don't know much about him.
You should probably start with his obituary. Without knowing a little more, though, it is difficult to find an answer. Do you know his name?
age?
Where he lived?
Get as much info as you can before starting your research.

Do you have a name? How long ago did he die? Where? Do you know his approx date of birth, place? The more you know the better you can "find" him and his family.
On line there are few free sites but I don't recommend them.
