Free Property Records, Locate Property Owner Search?

Free property records, property owner search by address?

I'm trying to locate the owner of a property, I would like to know if the real estate has commercial rights.

Any ideas how to locate a property owner? Is it possible to get the property records from the street address?

It's possible to get the property records from the address. However to get free property records is at best unreliable and very time consuming. The problem is that the governmental and free property records sites usually don't have up to date or complete databases, they are just too small . At best they have partial info pertaining to small areas or individual counties ... our reps couldn't place their faith in the reliability of the data.

From the admin side here, I found on most of the free sites there was usually a fee anyway at the so called "free property records" search sites or otherwise a link to pay sites.



At our office we mostly use Gov property records search where we can use the property address to obtain details about the property including the owner's name.

You can search further info about the real estate history at the same website Gov real estate searches .

This not a free service, however considering the ease and reliability of the information received, it's well worth it and miles ahead of other options.

Hi there,

Assuming you are in the USA, it is the county assessor who keeps these records. These are public records.

You will need accurate address or parcel number to find out who the owner is.
