It could be used in artificial intelligence, Espionage, many applications. Artificial (humanoids), r applications in software. You could manufacture software applications that could smell products, people r anything with a scent (online) and you can live the experience while u surf the net. You could change the molecular structure of scent to a different shape( like a pixel) and make liquid scents obsolete.. but what do I know Iam from KPAX>
