A:IMC does not run an honest company. Not only do they have a big fat F rating by the BBB for dishonest marketing practices and cancellation issues but they are also being sued by the State of Minnesota for false and misleading business practices. If you paid this company money then you did absolutely no research on the company before tossing your money away. They had a D rating last year and several complaints not only on the BBB website but several others like ripoffreport and complaintsboard. The only hope you have is to call your mortgage company yourself and work something out if your home hasn't been sold. Hopefully you have money saved up because you'll need it for your home. Once you get that straightened out then you need to file a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General. If they receive enough complaints they will file a suit against the company, thats the only way you are going to see a dime of your money because IMC will most likely not refund you at this point. They will send you in circles telling you that they have worked diligently on your file and will come up with a number of other excuses not to get your money. did i mention that you'll only get that response if you actually reach someone on the phone? follow my advice, save your home first then file the complaint.
