MY inferiority complex isn't as good as YOURS
Protein isn't as much as a problem as iron.I've been a vegan for six years.Protein is available in many meatless foods and absorbes well into the bloodstream this way.Iron can be harder to find in vegetarian cuisine and doesn't absorb as well by way of supplements. The best way to get all the nutrients you need when going veg is focusing on leafy greens, cereals fortified with iron and calcium, nuts, beans and plenty of organic supplements specifically formulated for those on a meatless diet.Check out GoVeg.com for some good information and if you do decide to become a vegetarian,I commend you! It's such a committment but so worth it!
No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.
I have been a vegetarian for 25 years, and I get my proteins from the following: fish, eggs, dairy products, nuts, seeds, and legumes like black beans and lentils. In addition, I take multiviatamins on a daily basis.
