has anyone a recipe for peppers in oil
You don't say what you want to do with them. But If you plan on keeping them in a jar. Then the best plan is to put them up in extra virgi olive oil. Change out the iol about every 2 to 3 months as the oil or peppers might go sour. If you want to cook them, then the best way is to, Have a skillet hot( make sure that oil is not to hot to cause fire) with extra virgin olive oil in it, Clen pepper's and slice long ways, add pepper's to hot oil and saute'. Add garlic saly, fresh chopped garlic and pepper to tsate. Cook till aldente'( done but firm). drain and serve hot with sliced Italian bread. I am a retired Executive Chef and this is one of my favorites along iwht sliced mushrooms. You might want to add mushrooms to peppers also. Hope this helps Gary
