How much does it cost, from where? To make from scratch?
The cost to make your own dough is negligible. It's the cost of the toppings that adds up.
Thin Crust
1 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit)
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 package dry yeast
3 cups all purpose flour
Combine water, oil, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle yeast over water mixture and stir 'til dissolved. Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. Shape into a ball and place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
Cover and let rise in a warm place, free from drafts, for about 1 hour or until doubled in bulk.
Punch down and divide in half. Lightly grease your hands and pat dough evenly into 2 lightly greased pizza pans. Spread with sauce and toppings and bake according to your favorite recipe.
