Dear Albert: I am very sorry to hear about the troubles you have had to bear as of recent, you are not alone, but do have faith in God, He c-a-n change it all for the asking, trust me, I KNOW He can !
As for starting a petition to change the law for FL residents' online gaming, I want to say this: The idea is indeed very spirited, but I for one do not put very much stock in such "actions" because I have seen too many of them started only to "die a natural death" along the way without ever having any effect for their cause. Politicians are on a power trip and are not about to "dumb down" to us regular people who have an agenda different then theirs, one that would benefit u s ! All you have to do is look at the townhall gatherings on healthcare reform to see how much citizens' words and opinions count ! I have always been and am a UNpolitical person, I do not vote and I don't get involved. But moreover and more importantly, what I AM is a born-again christian and serve a far higher ruler then earthly ones could ever be, a ruler who has the sole power to change anything and everything by a mere whisper ! Choose Jesus and rely on His power, not "Lawmakers" and "Politicians" ! Why ? Because Jesus S A V E S 
However, if you choose to start such a "Petition" as you've mentioned you'd like to, I would indeed support your cause, no question.
