well, im no guy expert but i wouldsimply say, "yes there is something for you to do. just help me by doin ________" i know thats not funny or sassy but i just wanted to help you. :)

    Just keep some hershey's kisses in your pocket. The next time he asks you his question, just say, well a matter of fact, there IS!! Then stick your hand in your pocket, grab the hershey's, and as you are taking your hand out of your pocket, tell him here is a KISS for you!!

Regardless of his response, you will have hooked him. And the more egregious your answer, the better.

You could keep a small paper sack in your pocket. Pull it out at the proper time, look in it, pull your head up and look sad. And respond, Oh, I am so sorry. It seems that someone flushed it.

It is best that you should not be limited to my imagination.

1. Don't you know that even a "sow's ear has a silver lining"?

2. Do you always expect a "quid pro quo"?   (latin)

3.  Let's say there is, but only if you can guess what it is!

4.  Did you ever think, it might be better to give than to get?

5.  No, you should get pleasure out of doing just for me.

Let us hear outcome of this; you did not give us much in way of facts, ages, nature of friendship, genders, etc ... makes it hard to come up with best responses.
