When visiting youtube using Internet Explorer 7 I get this message where the movie should appear: "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player."

However, when I use FireFox I see the movie just fine.

I tried following YouTube's instructions to fix the problem but nothing seems to work..

Any ideas, anyone?

I just found out a solution not long ago, having the same problem.

1) If you're using Windows, goto Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel.

2) From the list, if you have 'installed the latest version of Flash' (v.9),  Remove Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX.

3) Then goto the the website and try to re-download it.

That's what I did and it works again now. Hope this helps.

The harder I work, the luckier I get.

Have you tried installing the plash player for IE? It is possible that Flash for IE and Flash for FireFox are two separate things.

Try this URL: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW

When I try to install the program in your link it just automatically shows a flash movie saying "successfully installed" and still I see no youtube movies in IE.
