If I am 5'4" and 123 pounds and I work out 5-6 days a week with a combo of weight training and cardio, what is the recommended calorie intake for me?
In your case the calorie intake should be at least 2,000 calories per day.
That depends on your metabolism and other factors. Instead of giving a general answer I suggest you go see a dietitian and get yourself checked up. A dietitian will be able to tell you exactly how many calories and of what origin you need to be getting in your diet.
That's their job so why not use their knowledge.
This depends on your age and gender. If you are 20-30, 2200 calories a day. 40-50, about 2000 calories a day. Men will have to have even more calories.
