what equipment do i need for px90
Here's one opinion, which appears to be typical:
"The only equipment that you're going to need for P90X is a set of free weights (all ranges, in my workouts I've used everything from 5 pound dumbbells to 25 pounds) and a pull-up bar. Now, either and both of these can be replaced with a set of Power Bands. There are other odds and ends that you are encouraged to use, such as a heart rate monitor and a yoga mat, but you don't need them." (Perspectives forum thread)
When in doubt, you can contact the company, to see what they say you need or might want for P90X. (Beachbody customer service)

Hello,
All you need for the workout are either weights or resistance bands and a place to do Pull ups.
Using bands is very effective and much easier and more cost effective than buying weights if you do not already have them. Dumbells are what you need and the best to use are fixed weigght dumbells or adjustables like Selectech from Bowflex. You will want sturdy ones because of the movements involved.
The bands work just as good. You can even get the band upgrade kit and use them for the back exercises and then you do not even need the pull-up bar.
hope that helped

Go with free weights whenever you can, they are alot harder because you also have to keep your balance.
It is really competent and more easier and statesman value impressive than buying weights if you do not already know them. Dumbells are what you require and the unexcelled to use are rigid weigght dumbells or adjustables same Selectech from Bowflex. You testament require rugged ones because of the movements interested. ---------- Saarah Workout Routines
