How do I feed peas to a goldfish? What about the other fish in the tank. What if I don't feed any of them for a couple of days? Will they survive?

I don't know about this, this sounds like a pretty bad idea... I think you should dtick to feeding your fish their regular fish food and avoid starvation, imagine how you would feel if you were in their place and you were their owner doing this...

You should first boil the peas and remove their outer shell, like suggested in the second comment

in here. Not feeding the fish for a couple of days will probably not kill them. feed them before you leave and right after you'll come back. Keep in mind, for other, longer absences, you can get and use an automatic feeder, like this site suggests.

Actually you can feed frozen peas to goldfish and it helps with all kinds of ailments like constipation and swim bladder problems.  One way is to cook the peas (a handful at a time in a little water in the microwave), cool them down in some cold water, take the shells off and feed them to your fish once or twice a week.

OK, goldfish don't have the same digestive systems like other fish!  CARBS!!!!!!! they require special food labeled GOLDFISH or KOI food!  high carbs and no fats!  potato flakes are awesom for them.  peas fill them up but offer little nutrician.  Hikari makes great pelleted foods for them.  seek them out!  they have floating and sinking types that will grow you happy fat goldfish and koi.  remember they like cool water and the tropicals don't.  maybe a second tank for them without a heater?  lots of water changes and DON"T OVER FEED!!!!!!!!!
