Help the UN feed people by playing a game Go to freerice.com For every correct answer in the game, rice is donated to hungry people It's FREE, fun, and educational.  To feed animals for free, go to http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive.  "What does it profit a man to gain the world if he loses his soul?"

Many, many times.  Laid off, too.  Quit a lot of times, also.  Being fired is not always your fault.  Sometimes the business has problems.  The IRS closed one business I worked at.

Sometimes your supervisor is making a scapegoat of you to cover their own mistakes (happened doing quality control, the company went out of business the year after they fired me by losing all their contracts for poor quality).

And sometimes you screw up and deserved to be fired.  As I like to say, make many mistakes, and have few regrets.  We learn from our mistakes and you probably won't have the same problem at the next job.

Or was a simple 'yes' the answer you wanted and the rest is just rambling?

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Once I was fired from a crummy summer job serving pizza at a pool snack bar. lol

It aint worth eating if it dont bite you back

Yeah        realy had to work hard in order to get fired but after several months of persistant random tardiness and questionable performance I was able to coax out the "we are going to have to let you go"out of a less than desireable employer. I was pretty proud of him for facing that responsibility in his company I think I was his first.
