Our experiences with them have been fine. They have placed capital with our company,  we currently have the use of a substantal amount they placed with us. It was tough and they are expensive, but we got the money. Our experience is only in the UK

I would be interested to hear of your experience with them. To my knowledge they are still trading.

Have you paid due diligence fees for a project if so were you happy with your treatment.

They took our money, said that our project is what they are looking for, told us to hold on tight for the term sheet and that we will be getting the term sheet any day now. It has been over a year and they no longer return phone calls.

Yes, we also paid a due-diligence fee just before the global credit market down turn.  Since then, we have been told to wait (sometimes 2 or 3 phone calls were needed to make contact) for the markets to come back, which is understandable.  The latest from them is that they will  have "new details" this month (June 09).

Thanx for your response.

We also have been working with them for a year now, I have to say they are really frustraiting to work with, we have had terms agreed but for the past three month keep being told contract are going to be done and the silence for long periods. So far all we have had is promises of completion but nothing else. I would be happy to hear others experience of them as well and if anyone has actually got the money!

We have also been waiting for over a year now = same scenario - our project was supposedly being funded July 2008, then everything has been on hold since then. We paid the DD fees because we had a sense of 'trust' with them. Of course, now that they no longer seem to be lending, due to the world financial crisis, they simply do not return phone calls and emails - last communication we had from them was in May 09 which stated that we would be getting an update by the end of the week??!!
