Online resources might be too generic, like the HUD info, to be much help.  Your financial situation will be unique.  I'd start with a qualified financial analysis that will define what payment you can afford.  Then, depending on how much down payment you have available, if any, you can look at what mortgage options give you the payment you need.  One thing you need to understand is what Par and Rebate are in relation to your loan and the interest rate you pay.  I'd start with a financial planner or CPA who can help you figure out a payment maximum.  We also have resources available through our
