How do i avoid paying finance charges?
Pay the full balance each month and don't stray off the grace period. You can't avoid charges on cash advances.

If it is finance charges from a credit card the only way to avoid finance charges is to pay the whole balance off at the end of the month. Never carry a balance on a credit card if you can. If you can't always pay more than the minimum.
