In the 70s, I got "tonsillitis" several times. I now believe it was actually strep throat. One year, I got strep in June. I took antibiotics semi-religiously for the prescribed time. It went away. It returned in July. This time, I was very strict with the antibiotics and it went away. It returned in August. By this time, I had attended a week-long seminar conducted by a fat old herbalist named Dr. John Christopher. I had my throat cultured. It was Type A (B? I don't remember) strep. I took one antibiotic pill, then called Dr. Christoper's Herb Shop. I followed the directions I got there, stopped the antibiotics, got completely cured, and have NEVER had strep since.
Here's the regimen:
1) Eat a whole clove of raw garlic (contains the natural antibiotic sulfur) with a teaspoon of honey--they mellow each other out. Repeat as often as you can stand it.
2) Gargle with a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (preferably strong; depends on your tolerance) in a glass of warm water. Gargle deep in the throat, spit, gargle, spit. .
3) Drink at least 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne in a couple of ounces of water 2-3 times a day. Chase with plain water if needed.
4) Eat raw onion (more sulfur) with honey.
I soaked my sheets for two nights straight, then that was it. Done forever.
Try it. Can't hurt. Except the cayenne might burn a little.
Good luck. Questions? Email me at rpa2998@gmail.com
