First, it's always hard when a transfer fails, and I hope the next time will be your last, at least for this pregnancy...
It does sound as if the embryos were very young and small when transferred, but I wouldn't go as far as judging your doctor according to the information you give here. There might have been a reason for the early transfer. I think your best bet is setting an appointment with your doctor, and presenting her with all the questions you might have.
